Credit Officer Position at NBP
National Bank of Pakistan is seeking motivated and career-oriented professionals for the position of Credit Officer, OG-II in the area of Risk Management.
The role primarily involves supporting credit assessment and management activities related to SME and agricultural financing.
Candidates with relevant banking experience and an understanding of credit analysis may find this position particularly suitable.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have at least a Graduation degree or equivalent from a local or international university, college or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
A background in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Credit Officer will support the Regional Executive Credit in reviewing and analyzing credit proposals relating to SME and agricultural financing.
The role includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Candidates may also need to consider climate-related risks while reviewing credit proposals.
Other responsibilities include analyzing working-capital requirements and financing needs of SME and agricultural customers.
Credit Officers will be expected to work according to the bank’s internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
They may also assist with audit observations, coordinate with business groups and support other assignments given by supervisors.
